How long have you worked at Jackson’s and how long in the industry?
I have worked for Jacksons for coming up 5 years. I also have been a plumber for 12 years gaining hands on expertise in many residential, commercial, and agricultural plumbing systems, in addition to plumbing I also have 9 years of comprehensive experience in the construction industry.
What do you enjoy most about your role or working here?
I enjoy the variety that comes with my work- no two days are the same. One day I might be working on a busy farm, the next I’m contributing to the development of a high end country retreat. This diversity keeps the job interesting and has given me the adaptability to work confidently in a wide range of environments.
What projects or work are you most proud of?
I enjoy all my jobs especially the bigger commercial/agricultural projects. I enjoy doing the whole project from the digger/ground works, building the plantroom, and installing the water treatment, tanks and pump sets etc.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and kids which helps me stay grounded and balanced. I have also in the last year or so taken up CrossFit and powerlifting which has been a great way to try get fitter, push my limits, and build mental resilience.
